Terms of service
Effective date: 2026-03-26 — Version: 2026-03-26-v1
The contracting party is Camio Software Limited, 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. Notices: legal@camio.co.
1. Agreement
By accessing or using the Camio platform ("Service"), you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, mandatory statutory rights under applicable law (including consumer and data protection law) are not excluded or limited except as the law allows. Business customers should ensure any separate agreement with us (e.g. order form, DPA) takes precedence where stated.
2. The Service
We provide an online asset and inventory management platform. Features, availability, and support levels may depend on your subscription or agreement with us.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access for breach of these terms or to protect the Service.
4. Customer data
You retain rights to data you submit. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Service, subject to your agreement and applicable law. You warrant you have the rights needed to submit the data.
Where we process personal data on your behalf as a processor (for example, data about your end users or employees that you upload), the relationship is governed by UK GDPR / EU GDPR Article 28 and your data processing agreement with us, in addition to these terms. Where we determine the purposes and means of processing (for example, account, security, and analytics as described in our Privacy policy), we act as a controller.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including by attempting unauthorised access, disrupting others, or violating law.
6. Third-party services
The Service integrates third parties (e.g. authentication, hosting, analytics). Their use is described in our Privacy policy.
7. Confidentiality and security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
[Jurisdiction-specific disclaimers and liability caps to be drafted by counsel.] To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access with notice where reasonable, or immediately for serious breach. Surviving provisions (e.g. liability, confidentiality) continue as applicable.
10. Governing law
[Governing law and venue to be chosen by counsel. For UK-based operators, England and Wales is common; EU customers may require consideration of mandatory consumer or employment law in their Member State.]
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you as required (e.g. in-app acceptance for material changes). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance.
